LYING WITNESSES
It’s been almost a year since the World Health Organization announced the
first confirmed cases of the new coronavirus. December 31st marks the
anniversary of the first confirmed cases in Wuhan, China. This week’s
“News, Nuggets, and Insights” takes a look at something rarely reported
about the virus; the cost. Does anyone really know? There are many measures
taken to battle this plague such as “trackers” and of course the supplies,
the money for the vaccines, and the rise in health care cost. A study at
Harvard University estimates of a staggering cost of 16 Trillion Dollars by
the end of next fall. How will this affect the U.S. Debt? Tom Kerry revisits
the subject of the U.S. Debt and lays out the picture of the astounding
decline of the American fiscal condition. Find out just how fast things are
deteriorating and why this is so important to understand.
We continue with our look into the Systematic
Destruction of America with the emphasis this week on the media. There can
be no doubt that there now exists on a grand scale, a dishonest and corrupt
media in America. It is responsible for not only misinformation, and
downright lies, but also the ability to manipulate the mindset of a whole
society. The examples and explanation of just how insidious things are
progressing should make all of us pay close attention to what we see and
hear. Scripture says in (I Thes.5:21) to “Prove all things; hold fast that
which is good.”
On the heels of examining how
the media and American leadership is misleading our citizens, this week’s
program looks at what God’s Word has to say about lying witnesses. Tom Kerry
takes us through the scriptures to help us be aware of the lying spirits all
around. We also need to be careful ourselves that we remain truthful, for
God’s Word is clear. Even King David was concerned about false witnesses.
Now more than ever, Christians everywhere need to be on guard and pray
always for divine protection from the father of all lies who is behind these
false accusers and lying witnesses.
