THE BOOKS OF PETER
The end of the year is fast approaching and this week,
“News, Nuggets and Insights” takes a look at the Jewish celebration of
Hanukkah. Also known as the festival of lights, this special holiday
remembers an inspirational event in Jewish History. Find out what that event
was and why it continues to be a message of faith.
The US recently put out a very concerning report
warning of damaged environment and shrinking US economy. Do those not
believing in “climate change” need a reality check? This week we take
a closer look to analyze this recent report alongside other news and
reports. What is the bottom line to “climate change?” The answer is found in
your Bible! What is happening is what God said WOULD happen! What are
the conclusions from this report? The world is running wild with this 1656
page assessment. It seems things are playing out just as we had warned in
previous programs. We are watching prophecy unfold right before our eyes and
we all must be aware and not be taken in by anything that is not in
alignment with God’s Holy Word.
A few weeks ago, we were told by the mainstream media
and those on the Left, not to worry about the thousands of migrants heading
for America’s southern border. They are now here and because the current
administration is enforcing the law to protect the country, the propaganda
machine is in full swing doing its very best to paint a false narrative.
What is that narrative and what is the truth? Again we must look at Isa.1:7.
Fires destroy our cities and strangers are devouring our land! God is
warning us, who will listen?
While the news focuses on these migrants, Christianity
is yet again under attack. This week we uncover a few stories that most have
not heard, but God’s people need to hear and take heed!
In the times ahead, the books of Peter will be an
anchor to our souls, for in them is hope. Peter was relating to the
persecution of his day. The Church of God, Ministries Int’l has been trying
to prepare God’s people to be steadfast in the truth. Unfortunately, some of
the church of God communities are under a false belief that we will not
suffer persecution, but be taken to a “place of safety.” In this week’s
program, Tom Kerry presents an astounding timeline that parallels Jeremiah
with God’s Church. Join us as Mr. Kerry details events with scriptures and
explains just why the books of Peter as so important for us in this day and
age.
