SPECIAL THANKSGIVING EDITION!
POST ELECTION – PT 2
BOOKS OF HOPE – PETER 1 & 2This week
“News, Nuggets, and Insights” presents a very special and uplifting
program that focuses on Thanksgiving. We have some informative and thought
provoking videos that reveal the true history of this American holiday and
why we must remember to give thanks to the God that has blessed us.
As we continue with our post-election stories, it seems the
authorities across the country are once again using COVID-19 to control the
citizens. Find out just what is happening in this very unstable time. We
even have a few more examples of things that “you just can’t make up.”
Last week we reported on the evidence of voter fraud being
cited across the nation and that the courts must decide what to do about it,
if anything. Christians everywhere are praying for this to come to light,
which it has in many ways, but it is ultimately in God’s hands to intervene
or not. The outcome will affect Christians everywhere and we need to be
prepared no matter what happens. There seems to already be a major shift
against freedom and Christianity.
As we look forward to Thanksgiving and realize that
Christians are instruments for God, we take a look at the books written by
the apostle Peter that give us hope. The examples of the brethren who lived
during the time those books were written are an inspiration to us today, and
Peter’s message is just as meaningful to each of us as it was to them
centuries ago. We are looking at the chaos around us and we see the
blessings of a great nation being thrown away. We know we have a short time
to be the instruments that God intends us to be. We need to keep the words
of Peter in the forefront of our minds as we face even more troubling times.
IN THE MAIL
This week we mailed out the DVDs “Standing in the Gap”
by Chuck Hunt, Jr. and “Caleb – Legacy of Courage” by Tom Kerry.
Thank you all for your prayers, support, and all your
efforts in sharing these messages with others. We know that time is growing
short and maybe even shorter than we think. It is time to continue to preach
the gospel in boldness, even at the threat of being silenced. We look to God
for our strength and we also need to help strengthen each other as the days
ahead grow darker. We pray you have a wonderful and uplifting Thanksgiving,
knowing that all thanks and glory go to our Father and our soon coming King,
Jesus Christ. Blessing to you all, till next week.
