Even though we were put on pause for a while, the world’s problems and evils
kept going at full speed. As we catch up on the news events through biblical
perspectives, it would not be like us not to mention our veterans who we
honor each year. In the program this week we do so with a couple of special
videos we hope you will love as much as we do. In our remembrance of those
who have served and fought for the freedoms we still have in America we also
see a contrast in our country’s leadership today who have put them aside for
their own selfish agendas.
In today’s NNI program Tom Kerry will bring out what the open borders
mean for the economic situation that politics has caused many Americans to
suffer needlessly. The open border in the south is simply one of the many
mistakes that our country’s present administration has failed to approach
with the wisdom which our forefathers once possessed. The only answer to the
troubles that we see escalating will be the return of Jesus Christ. God has
warned us of the “men in high places” we are witnessing in this end time
generation.
Other events that are having an effect on our freedoms can be clearly
understood by using the biblical principles that we strive to convey in the
News, Nuggets and Insights programs. This week Tom Kerry uses the analogy of
“Connecting The Dots,” with each dot representing specific current
events. Once all the dots are connected the picture becomes exposed and
understood by those who know how to understand.
By using the principles of God such as the scriptures in Isaiah in which God
tells us to “remember the former things of old” and that He has “declared
the end from the beginning,” we can compare current events to history. In
stating that “history repeats itself” we do not mean, of course, that it
produces an exact clone or copy. What we mean is that there are enough
similarities in behaviors and practices to recreate the same outcomes time
and again. Human nature has not changed in this world of ever increasing
knowledge and technology.
