This week’s “News, Nuggets, and Insights”
begins its program with a few news briefs that will startle you and a few
that will make you chuckle. And it all begins with the “gingerbread man” and
the controversy over this famous cookie’s gender.
Lev. 18:21 and Jer.32:35 warn against the sacrifice of
children to the pagan god, Molech. From now till March of 2020, as part of
an exhibit celebrating the city of Carthage, a giant statue of Molech will
greet visitors at the entrance to the Roman
Colosseum. Last week we covered the pagan goddess,
Pachamama being allowed in the Vatican. Paganism is on the rise in our
modern world. Christians everywhere need to take note.
Surely evil is manifesting itself in ways that are
crossing over into the religious realm. Along with the rise of paganism,
society is not only accepting and advocating abortion, it is being glorified
even within some churches. A lesbian Episcopal priest, who calls abortion
a blessing, has been named the head of the Abortion Federation. Find out
what this means and the future impact it may have on those who stand for
what God has to say about the subject.
This week, special guest, Mr. Clayton Evans, presents
a powerful message on the free moral agency given to mankind and how
imperative it is to obey God’s law. You will be inspired by his insight to
the results of sin and the blessings of following God’s laws.
On November 9 to November 10, 1938, in an incident
known as “Kristallnacht,” Nazis in Germany torched synagogues, vandalized
Jewish homes, schools and businesses and killed nearly 100 Jews. This week
we share informative clips that describe this event also known as, “the
night of broken glass. As we recall this tragic event, Tom Kerry presents
something very intriguing in the light of God’s Holy Word as he lays out
God’s timeline and the events that all point to the return of Christ.
Kristallnacht fits perfectly into the former and the latter as Mr. Kerry
explains. Join us in this eye-opening segment of this week’s program.
