VETERANS DAY TRIBUTE
NEWS BRIEFS WORLDWIDE
GOD’S FAITHFUL VETERANS
This Monday, November 11th, is Veterans Day and this week God’s
Unchanging Word pays tribute to our veterans. We take a look back at the
very beginning of the celebration of this holiday and some interesting facts
that you may not have known. We hope you will enjoy our special edition of
“News, Nuggets, and Insights” as we humbly honor those who gave so
much for our freedom.
It seems lately that there is no shortage of bizarre news and this week
is no exception. Nearly 900 inmates in New York jails could reportedly be
released before the state's bail-reform law takes effect in the new year.
Not only will they be released, but they will be awarded “gifts” by the
state. Find out the hard to believe details of this news and news once again
involving the Pope and the Catholic Church. The Pope has caused a stir among
many Catholics for allowing a pagan idol in the Vatican. Find out just what
this pagan idol is and why it is so upsetting to Catholics worldwide.
While the Catholic Church tries to downplay the Pope allowing a pagan
idol into the Vatican, the Lutheran Church holds “Drag Queen Story Hour” for
their children. “News, Nuggets, and Insights” has been covering the
various stories coming out about these “Drag Queen Story Hours” and
presenting them to warn people that God condemns such practices. People
everywhere should be alarmed as this sick society is targeting out CHILDREN!
As we pay tribute to our American Veterans, this week’s program
highlights God’s “veterans.” We look to Hebrews 11 which illustrates the
many who lived and died in service for God, always holding fast to the faith
once delivered. We also look towards the “end time elect” and focus on the
hope that is within us and the prize that lies ahead.
As we close our tribute to our veterans, we at God’s Unchanging Word
want to thank all of you for your support and prayers. Let us look to the
examples of God’s veterans like those in Hebrews 11. May we all stay untied
in spirit, praying and doing God’s will in faith, as we look forward to our
victory when Christ returns!
