“AT THE APPOINTED TIME,” ACCORDING
TO GOD’S HOLY WORD!
As the world continues to experience troubling weather
conditions, “News, Nuggets, and Insights” takes a look back at what
affected the U.S. Gulf Coast 50 years ago this month, Category 5
Hurricane Camille. Take a look back with us as we show rare footage of
the storm and its aftermath, the heartache and the tragic loss of life
during that fateful summer of 1969.
This week’s program brings news briefs from around the
world. One such story has California in the news again. This time the public
school system has been spared in one city where a teacher was promoting the
idea of “gender registration.” Fortunately, the school stopped this teacher
from this seemingly innocent, but bizarre curriculum which uses a unicorn to
illustrate this subject.
Another quite strange story comes from Japan. A
400-year-old temple in the deeply traditional Japanese city of Kyoto, has
unveiled a robotic preacher to deliver Buddhist teachings in a bid to reach
younger generations of Japanese. “News, Nuggets, and Insights” shares
a look at how the people who witnessed this new technology in “spiritual
guidance” reacted. Is this just another step away from what God requires of
His servants and another step towards Satan’s agenda?
As we have been highlighting in our programs, freedom
of speech in America is under attack. This week we focus on a battle for
that freedom as PragerU fights for the freedom to keep their messages
on the media giant, YouTube. In one of the most succinct explanations
produced in a video format, PragerU lays out exactly what is happening with
the media giants such as Google, YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter as
they continue to ban the conservative Christian point of view from their
formats. The lawsuit filed by PragerU against YouTube is an
extremely crucial one. God’s people need to keep this issue in their prayers
as it affects Christians everywhere.
Most of God’s people are familiar with the phrase,
“At the appointed time…” Join us this week as we begin to expound this
subject through scriptures that bring us from the beginning of time till
today. God’s Word tells us to look at what God has set aside for signs and
season, yet many church goers are taught to ignore these warnings. Why? Tom
Kerry explains what God’s people need to be aware of as we see the time of
Christ’s return approaching.
