CHRISTIAN PERSECUTION IN CHINA

TISHA-B’AV – 9th OF AV

“News, Nuggets, and Insights” has the Christian persecution on its radar and this week we focus on what’s happening to Christians in China. The news media is not reporting this horrendous persecution upon Chinese Christians. Find out the details and why it should raise an alarm to Christians worldwide.

American culture is changing right before our eyes, but the change began years ago. We take a look at some of the things set in motion over the years that are now bearing the ugly fruit of the culture change of America. By looking at how pre-war Germany began its cultural change, we can see the very same tactics used to change the mindset of the American people and in particular, the youth. Just as the Jewish people were the target in Germany, Christians are the target in America.

This week’s “News, Nuggets, and Insights” places most of its focus on the spiritual portion of the program. Join us as Tom Kerry explains the meaning and significance of “Tisha-B’AV,” or the 9th of AV. Many of God’s people understand that America parallels the nation of Israel and the relationship that God established centuries ago. There are specific tragedies found in scripture and history that occurred on the 9th of AV that America should heed. We look to Jeremiah and also Joshua to learn what we must do to avoid such tragedy. We look to the former and the latter and what Jesus laid out in Luke 21. Are we at the time that will usher in the Beast Power? God says He will cut time short. As we see events escalating, the warning to His people is certainly of great significance so that we, as His called out ones, can cross into the Promised Land just as Joshua and Caleb did.

As we continue to struggle through this pandemic, we often hear the slogan, “we are all in this together.” God’s people understand that “we ARE all in this together,” but in the body of Christ. Praise God for the understanding that His Kingdom will come soon and deliver this world from the destruction that lies ahead. In the meantime, we continue to warn and be a witness.
