GOD’S 7 YEAR LAND REST
This week has been one of civil unrest worldwide, but this
week’s “News, Nuggets, and Insights” focuses on the upheavals in
America. Hatred is growing and lawlessness is rampant. These are alarming
times and God’s people need to be aware of where it is all headed. Two
important tactics that is sure to bring down this nation is the fast pace at
which lawlessness is growing and the attack upon our school children.
Violent crime is at record highs in most major cities. Chicago alone
suffered an unbelievable number of people shot and killed this past weekend.
People in San Francisco are looting stores in broad daylight daring anyone
to stop them. Control of crime is lost in our big cities.
Parents across America are fighting to save their children
from a perverted agenda that many of the public schools are determined to
invoke. Without God in our conscience, how can we train our children to grow
up with any of the biblical values that used to be the norm? “News,
Nuggets, and Insights” shares just a few of the heart-wrenching things
that this evil agenda has put into place in many of the schools across this
nation. Our children are being sacrificed to a godless and evil system. God
warns in Hosea 4 that because we reject God and His law, He would forget our
children.
This week we look at a very significant time period in Jewish history and on
the Hebrew calendar, Tisha B’Av. Find out what this period in Jewish
tradition means. We share some significant events that occurred on the 9th
of Av and how it relates to the United States of America. There are warnings
of curses that may very well befall America just as they did ancient Israel.
Many know about resting on the seventh day, but many do not
know that God requires the land itself to rest in the seventh year. This
week’s program studies the 7 year land rest that God lays out in Leviticus
25. This also ties in with Hebrews 4 and the rest that God promises to give
to His people in the millennium. How wonderful is God’s plan for mankind!
