AS IN THE DAYS OF SODOM
This week’s “News, Nuggets, and Insights” is full of tough
issues. It seems each week we hope that we would have more positive news,
but that hasn’t been the case lately. We do have the most positive news ever
that overshadows all of today’s headlines, and that is the incredible news
about God and His soon coming kingdom!
We do, however, begin our program on a positive note as we show a very
inspiring clip of Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu as he gives a speech in
honor of America’s 242nd Anniversary this July 4th. It is such a blessing to
know that much of America’s heritage is built upon scripture. It is an even
more special blessing for God’s people to be given the understanding that
America is a direct descendent of Abraham.
President Trump has nominated a new Supreme Court Justice and is facing
opposition under the auspice of women losing their “rights.”
Find out just how low our society has gotten on the issue of abortion. You
will be shocked!
As the world slides further into division, chaos and uncertainty, the
Pope is not wasting time “rallying the troops” in what he feels is an
imperative move to bring all religions to unity. Is this a move towards
prophetic fulfillment?
Find out as we search the scriptures in relation to unification of
religions worldwide.
A cringe worthy interrogation by a U.S. Senator of a U.S. Judge, has
recently surfaced again on the news circuit in light of the recent Supreme
Court nomination. Watch as Tom Kerry plays a clip of this interrogation and
explains just why this is important for Christians in a free society such as
America. In an accusatory type of dialogue the senator scolds the judge
because the judge is obviously faithful to her Christian roots as she
sternly tells her, “the dogma lives loudly in you.” Evidently,
the senator views this as a bad thing if you are a judge. Is it?
This week, Tom Kerry reveals the meaning of the powerful messages in
scripture in reference to “the days of Sodom.” What does Luke 17 and Genesis
