1960’s REVISITED
HISTORY REPEATING ITSELF
“News, Nuggets, and Insights” has
the arduous task to expose what is happening in and to “America, the
Beautiful.” In a week that’s been full of chaos in the streets across
America, we hearken back to another violent time in our country, the
1960’s. But there seems to be a pattern at play across the decades, from
the 1920’s until today. It is what we call “waves” and what has also been
titled in a sermon series as, “The Roaring Seas.” Join us as we take
a deeper look at events unfolding before our eyes, through the prism of the
past and God’s Holy Word.
In a world that is gripped by a pandemic,
we now find the concern over this deadly virus put on the “back burner.” All
eyes are now focused on an uprising across the country that was spurred on
by a video of a police officer killing a black man while other officers
stood by. The outrage was unbridled and the majority of citizens were in
agreement that this event should be brought to justice. Instead of using
this horrible event as common ground, Americans seem more torn apart than
ever. What is really going on? What does scripture reveal to a world full of
confusion and chaos in a land that has been granted more freedom than any
other?
There can be no doubt in any Christian’s
mind that God has blessed America abundantly. To an American Christian, one
of the greatest blessings we have is the freedom of religion. The
Constitution of the United States of America is a safeguard for all of our
freedoms. Once the Constitution is breached, and once the rule of law is
ignored, it won’t take long for our nation to turn into something other than
what God intended. Not only will we lose our religious freedom, we can
expect persecution like we’ve never seen in this nation.
This week, Tom Kerry once again reviews
and uses his Timeline in a PowerPoint Presentation that brings to light just
what is happening and what we can expect in the near future as this country
insists on keeping God out of the picture. We cry for peace, but all we can
see is violence. Are we marching onward from freedom to bondage? Where is
the spiritual discernment of our leadership? If God removes His protection
completely, we will see the wrath of Satan and his demons as we never have
before.

Has Declared Evil?” Last week we mailed the June Newsletter with
the mail-in card for the free DVD, “Conspiracies and False Prophecies.”
Amidst all of chaos and unrest, there is
hope for God’s church. We must be ready, and ready soon if indeed history is
repeating itself on a spiritual level. During the tumultuous 1960’s, God’s
church experienced tremendous growth. People need a refuge, people need
answers. Thank you for helping us warn this world as we also encourage God’s
called out ones to be ready. The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are
few. God bless you all and stay safe.
