As the world continues to be in the grasp of the Coronavirus, God’s people will soon be keeping the spring Holy Days. This week’s “News, Nuggets, and Insights” takes a deeper look into what is happening and what we can learn from the past.

Along with the astounding numbers of people being stricken with the virus and its exponential rise in cases, the world’s economy is in hanging by a thread. The US government has passed the largest bill to aid in this crisis, over 2 TRILLION dollars! Just what does a TRILLION dollars look? We present two videos that help bring this into perspective. We also look into what appears to be a major shift of governments worldwide. The entire world order is on tenterhooks.

What will be the aftermath of our current crisis? Many are saying this is biblical. As always, we take a look back at history and scripture to help give us a picture of what we may see in the near future and so this week we revisit God’s timeline. Tom Kerry takes us back to the time of the Israelites and looks forward to see what the appointed time of main events will be as we watch things unfold before our very eyes!

Many may have not taken notice or even heard of the recent New York Times headlines that blames evangelicals for the horrific number of those affected by COVID-19, but God’s people need to be aware of this and other attacks against Christians during this time. While the mainstream media and major players, such as our politicians, push their agenda to fight “climate change,” it seems there is a push to blame Christians for any major disaster whenever the opportunity arises. All of this plays into the end time scenario where Christians will be persecuted. This is a wake-up call, especially for God’s people. Are we in for a long siege of the wearing down of the saints?
