DUALITY OF EVENTS
IS HISTORY REPEATING ITSELF?
It seems the most prominent thing on nearly everyone’s
mind is the COVID-19 pandemic. Everyone’s life has been altered in
one way or another. We continue with the tracking of the spread of this
virus and take a look at the physical effects taking place in our world
because of it.
This week’s program compares the former
and the latter of similar events that help us to prepare for the future. To
understand the future, one must understand the past. What’s even more
important, is the long term spiritual effects that play out during such
trying times. Join us as we take a look at scriptures that reveal warnings
and the effects of the disobedience to God.
“News, Nuggets, and Insights” takes a look back at history to shed
light on what we may experience in the future. As we consider the Roaring
20s, followed by the Stock Market Crash of 1929 and the Great Depression, it
seems like a pattern of what we may very well be experiencing now and in the
near future. Two very similar statements made by President Hoover and
President Trump strike a chord of uneasiness in light of certain events.
Find out what those statements were and the events that followed that make
us consider just where we are heading as a nation.
This week Tom Kerry examines the events
that are beginning to create an environment that may begin the rise of a
beast power, revealed in Daniel and in Revelation. God’s people need to be
aware that while the end time draws near, we will be losing our freedom to
worship. Believe it or not, the biggest lesson we can learn from the
Coronavirus can be found in scripture. You will see in this program just
which scripture that is as Mr. Kerry expounds God’s Word and ties in world
events with God’s timeline.
