CHESS MATCH IN THE MIDDLE EAST – PT 2
MARDI GRAS BEGINS
On December 27th, 2019, a group of leaders within the
United Methodist Church unveiled a proposal that would allow the
denomination to split into two or more new denominations, representing the
conservative or “traditionalist” faction and the LGBT-affirming factions.
God warns His “leadership” of the severe consequences of leading “the sheep
astray.” This may be the beginning of the unification against
“traditionalism,” which includes churches that adhere to scripture. We have
covered the “humanism” agenda which the largest profile religious leader of
all, the Pope, is pushing. It seems “factions” will be coming together
faster than we can imagine. Are people being forced to choose? Surely it
seems as (Amos 7: 8-9) describes, a plumb line is being drawn. We are told
to watch!
The “chess match” in the middle east continues and
“News, Nuggets, and Insights” presents an interesting look inside of
Iran as student protestors are caught on film. You will be surprised at what
they are doing, or not doing, to the American flag.
This week’s program sheds insight to what is happening
to Christians in China. The mainstream media is not reporting about the
crackdown on religious worship in China. Join us as we look into the details
of this harsh regime against those who only seek to worship God.
Mardi Gras will soon begin and we at God’s
Unchanging Word take a look into this season that is ushered in with
“Twelfth Night.” What are the origins of this “mysterious” time that
dates back to the 1600’s in its tradition of honoring kings; and just what
has this to do with Christianity? Tom Kerry charts out this pivotal holiday
which is orchestrated by none other than Satan himself. This Mardi Gras
spirit is full of frivolity and decadence and a Christian should understand
the meaning of this pagan celebration before “letting the good times
roll,” or as they say here in New Orleans, “Le Bon Temps Roule!”
