This past week America braced itself for some of the coldest weather on
record. Many in the northeast had to endure a “bomb cyclone.” Find out
exactly what a bomb cyclone is and how this hard-hitting freeze is prompting
people to blame this weather on the President of the United States! As we
discussed in previous programs, Climate Change is becoming a
tool used against those who do not buy into the entire theory that somehow,
people cause and can drastically change weather trends. Is this the
beginning of the persecution that will come upon God’s people?
The world watched as North and South Korea began their first official
face-to-face talk in two years on January 9th, with hopes that discussions
could ease tensions on the peninsula stemming from North Korea’s
nuclear-weapons program. Tom Kerry points out some very interesting details
as we watch a clip of this very meeting on this week’s “News, Nuggets,
and Insights.” Meanwhile, tensions in the Middle East rise as protests
breakout in other countries over the unrest in Iran. The Iranians want more
jobs and more food. They want CHANGE! So far 4,000 people have been
arrested and 23 have died in recent protests that are growing.
As we enter the cold and somewhat brutal month of January, the world
looks forward to more holidays. In the last few episodes of “News, Nuggets,
and Insights” we laid out eye-opening details of Christmas and how Satan has
enacted a sinister plot to derail the plan of God. This week, we shine the
spotlight on one of the most “fun-filled” and “rowdy,”
“let your hair down” type of holiday of all, MARDI GRAS!
This ancient holiday is also of pagan origin and although it is mostly
associated with New Orleans, it is kept worldwide as “Carnival Season.”
Tom Kerry presents some important insights into this mysterious holiday and
shows how Mardi Gras is also tied into Christmas and Easter! This time of
revelry is an integral part of Satan’s plot to thwart God’s plan for
