Evangelicals for abortion? Sadly, the answer to that question is “yes,” in the state of Iowa. This week’s program focuses on abortion in the news and the recent efforts in Iowa to change a new law that makes abortion illegal after a heartbeat is detected. The shocking thing about this is that 68 religious leaders have signed a letter in support of abortion. Planned Parenthood is spending tax dollars on billboards depicting women who are “unapologetic” of their abortions; trying to convince people that abortions are just part of healthcare. On the heels of the abortion controversy, we bring more frightening statistics of child abuse, shedding light in particular on children abusing children. God’s word is not silent on such sins and His people know that we are in a time when they call good evil, and evil good.

The economy is once again on our radar and this week Tom Kerry presents a breakdown of the U.S. Debt Clock. The job numbers are up and the economy is growing. So what is the negative amid all of this positivity and is there anything that can be done to thwart an economic collapse? Find out in this week’s “News, Nuggets, and Insights.”
