DEADLY RIOTS IN IRAN CONTINUE – WHAT
DOES THIS MEAN FOR GOD’S PEOPLE?
As we enter 2018, the citizens of Iran are rising up in
protest against the brutal andcorrupt regime lead by top political leaders
and supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Iranian President Hassan Rouhani
has dismissed the protests taking place across Iran as 'nothing,’ in a bid
to downplay the significance of the increasingly violent demonstrations.
However, as of the taping of our first “News, Nuggets, and Insights”
of the new year, 21 people have been killed, and more than 450 arrested. A
Tehran official warned demonstrators they will face the death penalty!
God’s Unchanging Word is keeping a close eye on this situation as
we know, Jesus tells us to watch!
This week’s “News, Nuggets, and Insights” focuses on
events happening that have been “in the works” waiting for the right time to
be enacted. What are these events and how do they apply to what we call,
“the silencing of biblically founded truths?” Join us as Tom

Two weeks after the War of 1812 officially ended with
the signing of the Treaty of Ghent, U.S. General Andrew Jackson achieved the
greatest American victory of the war at the Battle of New Orleans. On
January 8, 1815, 7500 British troops marched against New Orleans, hoping
that by capturing the city they could separate Louisiana from the rest of
the United States. However, Jackson’s 4500 troops decimated the British
lines. The overwhelming victory elevated national pride, which had suffered
a number of setbacks during the War of 1812. The Battle of New
Orleans was also the last armed engagement between the United States and
Britain.
God’s Unchanging Word plans to produce a riveting
documentary on “The Battle of New Orleans” and reveal the little
known miracle that helped win this important battle during America’s
formative years.

The Church of God Ministries, Int’l continues to
provide “meat in due season” as we see the world grow darker
and darker as it moves away from all that is godly. Thank you for your
prayers and support in spreading the gospel as Christ commanded. We are but
a “little flock,” but isn’t that what Jesus said we would be? As God’s
people, we work as a team and continue to reach as many as we can until we
