“December
7,
1941,
a
Day
That
Shall
Live
in
Infamy!”
This
is a
famous
quote
by
President
Franklin
D.
Roosevelt
after
the
Japanese
attacked
America
at
Pearl
Harbor,
Hawaii.
We
at
God’s
Unchanging
Word
remember
that
day
on
“News,
Nuggets,
and
Insights.”
As
we
approach
the
75th
anniversary
of
the
attack
on
Pearl
Harbor,
America
faces
many
serious
challenges.
As
we
have
moved
further
away
from
Almighty
God,
the
greater
enemy
we
face
is
ourselves.
Psalms
9:17
says,
“The
wicked
go
down
to
the
realm
of
the
dead,
all
the
nations
that
forget
God.”
Still,
God
has
had
mercy
on
our
nation
and
as
God’s
people,
we
have
a
big
job
ahead
of
us,
to
warn
this
great
country.
In
these
past
few
weeks,
we
have
witnessed
many
accounts
of
flag
burning,
riots,
and
even
an
American
University
that
refuses
to
fly
the
flag
saying
it
is a
symbol
of
fear.
How
far
have
we
come
from
a
nation
that
was
full
of
pride
and
courage,
that
stood
for
principles
and
had
reverence
for
God,
to
allow
and
even
condone
such
shameful
acts?
We
reflect
this
week
on
that
fateful
day,
when
the
Japanese
carried
out
an
evil,
surprise
attack
on
America.
“News,
Nuggets,
and
Insights”
shares
a
special
video
clip
of
prophetic
warnings
from
one
of
our
greatest
Presidents,
Abraham
Lincoln.
His
words
are
more
pertinent
today
than
they
were
in
his
Lyceum
address
in
1838.
Are
we
in
the
time
spoken
of
in
Matthew
24?
Is
this
the
generation
that
“shall
not
pass?”
We
discuss
this
and
more
in
this
week’s
“News,
Nuggets,
and
Insights.”
We
also
have
some
exciting
updates
and
information
to
share.
We
hope
you
will
enjoy
these
timely
messages
and
pass
this
email
alert
along
to
others
who
might
find
these
messages
encouraging.
It
is
an
exciting
time
for
all
of
God’s
people
as
we
go
forward
to
continue
the
work
of
proclaiming
the
good
news
of
God’s
kingdom.
