VIOLENT
GROUP
CALLED
ANTIFA
STRIKES
INNOCENT
PEOPLE
AND
ARE
TOLERATED
BY
AUTHORITIES.
WHAT
IS
HAPPENING
TO
AMERICA?
THIS
WEEK
WE
DISCUSS
“THE
DAY
OF
ATONEMENT”
This
week’s
episode
of
“News,
Nuggets,
and
Insights”
sheds
light
on
the
meaning
of
the
holiday
America
celebrates
every
first
Monday
in
September,
Labor
Day.
Unfortunately,
we
also
had
to
cover
the
horrifying
devastation
that
was
then
bearing
down
on
the
Texas
coast
caused
by
Hurricane
Harvey.
The
suffering,
loss,
and
heartbreak
is
unimaginable.
Please
keep
all
those
affected
by
this
terrible
storm
in
your
prayers.
We
had
to
include
some
breaking
news
about
the
homegrown
terror
group
known
as
ANTIFA,
which
stands
for
Anti-Fascist.
They
have
been
beating
people
who
rally
or
protest
different
views.
They
recently
attacked
a
group
calling
for
unity
in
prayer
and
free
speech.
This
violent
group
wears
black
garb
and
masks
and
authorities
are
not
standing
up
against
them.
They
are
allowing
this
violence
in
our
cities
and
universities.
We
are
in
dangerous
times
and
our
precious
freedom
of
speech
itself
is
under
attack.
God’s
people
need
to
be
aware
of
what
is
happening.
North
Korea
is
in
the
news
again.
No
sooner
had
President
Trump
mentioned
he
had
hoped
Kim
Jong
Un
was
backing
down,
than
Korea
fired
a
missile
right
across
Japan!
The
Church
of
God,
Ministries
Int’l
has
been
warning
about
this
volatile
situation
and
the
possible
bleak
outcome
for
all
the
countries
involved.
GOD’S
HOLY
DAYS
–
THE
DAY
OF
ATONEMENT
This
week
we
begin
our
study
on
The
Day
of
Atonement,
also
known
by
many
as
Yom
Kippur.
It
is
the
solemn
Holy
Day
that
God
has
commanded
we
“afflict”
ourselves.
Therefore
we
fast
this
day
and
do
no
work.
Find
out
the
meaning
of
this
Fall
Holy
Day.
