Change will be one of the big issues that will bring about persecution on God’s people. This week in “News, Nuggets, and Insights,” we show an interview of California’s Governor Brown, blaming Climate Change for the wildfires. He goes on further to blame President Trump, because he pulled out of the Paris Agreement a few months ago. The Pope has also made statements, trying to add weight to this theory. As ridiculous as this is, people will believe these accusations. Find out just how people can be swayed to blame those who don’t agree with this controversial issue. Is this Satan’s way of shifting the blame from a sinful nation, to those who disagree? Governor Brown blames Climate Change, but Isaiah 1:7 says, “Your country is desolate, your cities burned with fire; your fields are being stripped by foreigners right before you, laid waste as when overthrown by strangers.” This is a very important development that God’s people need to be aware of. As we watch California burn, the gay movement pushes its agenda throughout the Israelite nations. Australia recently passed the Gay Marriage Bill and this week’s episode shows some disturbing celebrations in the highest courts of that country. We have brethren in Australia that are saddened and sickened by this blatant disregard for God and His laws. They are also very concerned for their future. We share some of their sentiments with you in this program.
President Trump officially recognizes Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and the world reacts! We are seeing how the evil in this world rises up against those who speak the truth. Even the Pope had negative comments about President Trump standing up for what is right. Other Presidents stated the obvious, that Jerusalem was Israel’s capital, but this is the first President, since Harry Truman, to officially recognize this fact and back up his words with action, as he formally stated such and plans to move the US Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
Our study of the History of Christmas continues with Part 2. As we draw closer to December 25th, the world hurries to buy presents for their friends and loved ones as it celebrates what THEY think is the birth of Jesus Christ. We introduce in this episode, a side of Santa Claus that many may not have heard of, Krampus! Children have been told by parents and in song that Santa knows if they’ve been naughty or nice. Where did this strange attribute of Santa Claus come from? Find out this and more, in this week’s “News, Nuggets, and Insights.”
